Tapecoat TC 20
Description:Tapecoat’s TC 20 is a hot-applied coal tar coating in tape form for underground gas, oil, and water pipelines. TC 20 is designed to protect buried metal surfaces from corrosion and electrolysis. These surfaces include pipe, pipe joints, fittings, couplings, tanks, cable, conduit, tie rods, and elevator casings. TC 20 is resistant to thermal expansion, impact, and abrasion. Tapecoat Omniprime primer is required.
Recommended Use:Appropriate for coating new construction, reconditioning, coating girth-welds, bends, tees and fittings. Effective mainline or girth weld coating for directional boring of small diameter pipes. Its resistance to gasoline and oil makes TC 20 a good choice for service stations, terminals, bulk stations, producing fields and similar locations.
